Professional Experience

I’ve been working in the accounting field my entire career dating back to 1995. After working for a couple of smaller companies as an accounts payable clerk I took my first full-fledged accounting position at Reliance Development Group, Inc. (RDG, Inc.) in 1997. RDG, Inc. was essentially the real estate development division -and direct subsidiary- of Reliance Insurance Company. It was at RDG, Inc.

It was at RDG, Inc. that I earned my wings in the accounting field.  My responsibilities evolved from simple accounts payable and receivable duties to full-fledged financial statement presentations for all of its development projects as well as RDG itself.

When Reliance Insurance closed its doors, I went to work with Henry A. Lambert, RDG’s former president at Lambert Development, LLC which began operations in 2000. I started working with Edgemont Capital Partners in 2007.

  • Professional Accomplishment of Which
    I am Most Proud

Being able to work independently and developing the fortitude to accommodate so many different fields of business, along with the very different personality types that come with each company’s office culture is something I never would have imagined being able to do. It has taught me so much about myself while offering me challenges that I am very proud to have been able to overcome.

Even more importantly, the relationships I’ve forged with the many different companies and staffs I’ve been blessed to work with is what I consider to be my biggest accomplishment.

  • Personal

My family always jokes about my ‘OCD’ and how much I care for the order of things. Maybe that’s product of my couple of years in the Marines. But that’s not to say that I can’t kick back and enjoy moments for what they’re worth, especially if they’re shared with my family.

  • Family

I am but one of a delightful family of four which includes both a teenage son and a teenage daughter (yes, I’m a glutton for punishment…) along with their incredible mother. I couldn’t for a second -nor would I want to- imagine what life would be like without them.

  • Passions (outside of work)

I am definitely a gym rat. I love spending time in the gym and continue try and stay in shape -if not for any other reason than to try and keep up with my kids. I am also a big time movie buff. I’m always that annoying guy that my friends and family go to when they want to remember who was in what or what was the name of the movie that had this or that in it. It’s always been a passion of mine as some of my fondest memories as a child come from my father sitting me down to watch movies with him.
